After 2.5 months of house hunting, we finally found our first home. It’s been quite a journey this year, moving across the country, getting a new job, buying a home!
Before moving to Seattle, we talked about getting a fixer upper so we can make the place exactly what we want it to be. After one week of house hunting, we realized fixer upper does not exist in the current Seattle housing market, especially for the fact that I want to have a shorter commute to work.
We were lucky to find our new home in the neighborhood of Eastlake. We felt in love with our brand-new home which was not something we expected. The view from the roof top reminded me of all the travelings we have done in the past. The houses on the hillside and the sail boats drew a resemblance Bergen, Norway and Valpariso, Chile.
I have been so busy with all the moving, unpacking and decorating. This past weekend we finally got the internet set up in the house! Stay tuned with our home decor update!
