Bibury really served a based as our Cotswolds visit. We were extremely lucky to stay three nights at the only cottage that is available for rent in the Arlington row.
The nineteenth-century artist and craftsman William Morris called Bibury “the most beautiful village in England” when he visited it.  I would highly recommend to stay at 9 Arlington Row through national trust when you plan your visit. It’s really once in a life time experience to stay in this cottage that dates back to the 1380s.
I know I want to take it slow when visiting Bibury. Although its off season, the village still gets quite busy starting at 9am in the morning. You can see buses and vans dropping tourists off right in front the parking lot across from the Swan Hotel.  I made sure to get up early in the morning to get some clean shorts before all tourists arrive in town.
