How to dress for a hot hot summer day in NYC

I love summer in NYC but it does get quite humid and hot. I personally don’t mind it at all especially after spending the raining winter and spring in Seattle. 

While visiting the city this time around, the temperature was up in the 90s.  I found this perfect silk maxi dress by Burning Torch, an LA based brand.  The dress is roomy and flowy at the same time.  The fabric is super light and the patten blends in with the green so well.
